TCPA Disclosure
Last updated: April 26, 2026
About this disclosure
The federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) restricts how businesses can contact consumers using automated dialing systems, prerecorded voice messages, and text messages. This page explains what consents we ask for, what they mean, and how you can revoke them.
What you agree to when you submit a request
When you submit a service request on our site and check the consent box, you authorize Miami Flood Response and our service partners (which may include licensed contractors and lead aggregator networks) to contact you at the phone number and email you provided. This contact may include:
- Phone calls, including calls placed using automated telephone dialing systems and prerecorded or artificial voice messages
- Text messages (SMS/MMS), including marketing text messages
- Emails relating to your service request
Your consent is not required as a condition of receiving any service, and you can revoke it at any time using the methods below. Standard message and data rates may apply.
How to revoke consent (opt out)
- Calls: tell the caller you do not wish to be contacted again. Your number will be added to our internal Do Not Call list within 30 days.
- Texts: reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts from that sender.
- Emails: click "unsubscribe" in any email, or reply with "UNSUBSCRIBE" in the subject line.
- All channels: email dispatch@miamifloodresponse.com with the phone number and email you wish to remove. We will process opt-out requests within 30 days.
National Do Not Call Registry
We honor the National Do Not Call Registry. By providing your phone number on our site, you are giving express written consent to be contacted at that number by our service partners about your submitted request, even if your number is on the National Do Not Call Registry.
Records of your consent
When you submit a request, we record the timestamp, IP address, user agent, and the exact text of the consent disclosure shown to you. This record is preserved for a minimum of 4 years to comply with TCPA evidentiary requirements.
Questions or complaints
If you believe you have been contacted in error or your opt-out request was not honored, contact us immediately at dispatch@miamifloodresponse.com or (305) 555-0177. We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.
